The Neighborhood Crime Watch is now in full force in our area! We have been working with the Lewisville Police Department and have their support and assistance, as needed! Our neighborhood is known officially as Timberbrook Area 3.Please feel free to pass this newsletter on to your neighbors, just in case we missed them! We have the next four NCW meetings scheduled, please make time to come! We would love to get to know you!Feb. 17, 2009May 19, 2009August 18, 2009November 17, 2009All meetings will be held at 7:00 PM at the Lewisville Police Department.Feel free to contact one of us to R.S.V.P., although it is not required! 2009-2010 NCW Timberbrook Area 3 Officers/VolunteersCoordinator-Shelly Szenasyshellyszenasy@gmail.com214-507-2068Secretary/Newsletter Coordinator-Angela Engeleangelacww@yahoo.com Volunteer Youth Activities Coordinator- Must be willing to volunteer at least 2 hours per month to coordinate activities for the kids (15 years and under) in our neighborhood to be held once a quarter or monthly. They will be required to pass security checks with the Police Department.Volunteer Positions!!We are currently looking for any volunteers who we can count on to fill other positions! Below is a listing of available positions, please contact one of us if you are interested in joining the committee!Neighborhood Watch Assistants- Must be willing to keep a watchful eye out for potential hazards or problems. NW Asst. will need to complete a 1 hour training session with the NCW Coordinator.Block Captains- Will be responsible for attending monthly meetings and occasional training sessions. They will be required to maintain a map of your block and communication with your residents.We currently need Block Captains for the following blocks: Holly Oak, Red Wing, Thrush, Fern, Hemlock and Sweet Gum.
