Burn Ban for Denton County

Denton County reinstates outdoor burn ban
Dry and windy conditions have prompted Denton County officials to reinstate an outdoor burn ban, prohibiting most open flames throughout the county (including Lewisville) until further notice. Residents and businesses are urged to comply with the ban in order to reduce the risk of wildfires that could endanger local life and property.
