Recycle

Keeping Lewisville Beautiful told us something that I thought was pretty interesting at our last NCW meeting.
Coralee Lennert said that our City Landfill will be at capacity in 3-5 years then our garbage bill could double!

Items that can be recycled in our containers that the city provides

Mixed Residential Paper: Newspapers, inserts, magazines, paper boxes, mail, junk mail, office paper, phone books, and flattened cardboard.

Cans: Food, beverage and soft drink cans composed of tin, steel or aluminum; other clean cans of same material.

Glass: Unbroken food and beverage containers that are clear, brown or green in color.

Plastics: Bottles such as a soft drink, milk, juice, water, shampoo, liquid soap, detergent, etc. and most plastic containers with #1 through #7 on the bottom. (except #6 Styrofoam).
